We welcome you to sit down and enjoy a rest from your travels in a setting inspired by our landscape. Almost every seat is a window seat in our glass-fronted indoor seating area, which opens out onto a peaceful outdoor dining terrace overlooking our duck pond and surrounding hills.
We use real ingredients, including meat from our butchers and locally sourced produce.
Our inclusive menus offer dishes to suit all diets and appetites, from light bites and salads to indulgent comfort food, including vegetarian and vegan options. Please ask our colleagues for advice on allergens and dietary requirements. Children’s portions of our hot dishes cost just £1 when bought with an adult meal.*
We cook simple classics with love and care.
Good, honest, tasty food is what we love to share, from full English breakfasts and hot porridge in the morning to homely lasagne, fish and chips, proper pies and frittata until late. We’re lucky to have an exceptional team of in-house bakers, who use traditional recipes and kitchen-cupboard ingredients to bake cakes, scones and traybakes as you would bake them at home.
Our coffee is roasted around 30 miles away by Extract Coffee Roasters of Bristol, which was founded by coffee lovers to share crafted speciality coffee while supporting its community and its growers’ communities.

Our Quick Kitchen and Outside Kitchen are stocked with sandwiches, salads, soups and hot pies made by us. Here you’ll find our famous sausage rolls, warm from the oven and packed with sausagemeat seasoned to perfection by our butchers.

Kids eat for £1
Smaller portions of our freshly cooked main dishes cost £1 when bought with adult-sized hot meals. One £1 meal can be ordered for a child aged 10 and under for every adult-sized meal, all day, every day.
Free hot drinks
Collect a stamp when you buy a hot drink and get your seventh cup for free. You can also get 10p off your hot drink when you bring a reusable cup. Don’t forget to pick up a hot drink loyalty card at the counter or ask one of our colleagues for assistance.
